There will be church services held in Ilkeston and Long Eaton on Sunday September 18th, the eve of the State funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Mayor of Erewash, Councillor John Sewell, and the Mayoress will be attending a service at St Laurence Church in Long Eaton at 5pm. The Mayor will deliver a reading.
In Ilkeston there will be a service at St Marys’
Church on the Market Place at 6pm. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Chris Corbett,
and the deputy Mayoress will be attending.
