CHURCH WILNE ROTARY CLUB

Safe and Sound is a Derby based charity which supports children who are victims of sexual exploitation or who are at significant risk of being exploited. On 29th February Church Wilne Rotarian John Walker took the Safe and Sound ‘Leap of Faith’ Charity Abseil Challenge off the Miller’s Dale Bridge near Buxton. He completed two drops to raise funds for Safe and Sound.
John shared that experience on a very cold day with the local  BAFTA winning actress Molly Windsor who has done much to promote awareness of the dangers of Child Exploitation through her appearance in the television drama ‘Three Girls’. Molly is now supporting and acting as an Ambassador for the Safe and Sound Charity.
She stood up to the challenge on 29th February and also abseiled off the 80’ Viaduct (Right Top).
