MOTORYCYCLIST KILLED IN DRAYCOTT CRASH

Police were called to a collision between a car and a motorcycle at around 11.40am on Derby Road, Draycott on Saturday, 7th March. East Midlands Ambulance Service were in attendance and the 49-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for investigation, with the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit warning in a tweet that it would not reopen for "a number of hours". Police have officially named the victim as Jason Gascoyne from Draycott.
